Day 3...Not Every Day Will be Perfect

First off thanks a lot blog spot for making it impossible for me to blog yesterday! (Insert sarcasm)

For Day 3 I just felt like I was in a fog. There didn't seem to be enough time to get anything accomplished at all. I woke up late and from then on nothing was right with my day. Exercise was non existent and I have no idea how close I came to my calories. I can only really congratulate myself for not going out to eat at all yesterday.

Food:
Breakfast: Blueberry Waffles and a tiny bit of syrup (not even enough to cover the waffles)
Lunch: Hot Pocket
Dinner: Baked BBQ Pork Chops, Scalloped Potatoes, and Steamed Green Beans (The green beans did cover 1/2 of the plate and I got enough potatoes for 3 bites)
Drinks: Water and 1 Orange Soda I know that I am by far not drinking enough water! I am not coming back from exercising very quickly and I know I am dehydrated.

I did however get a quick trip in to the grocery store (thanks mom for watching Boogies) and got my first taste of couponing. It is safe to say I am hooked! I ended up saving $14.00 and only spending $20.00 and had about 4 bags of food. Go me! So this is something I can see I am going to be doing from now on. I signed up for a subscription to the mag All You because the coupons in there are awesome and they have some great articles as well. Once I get a full grocery shopping experience under my belt I will let  you know.

Putting together meals right now seems to be hard. It is so hard for me to get to the store because if I take Boogies I will never get it done. If everyone goes I am sure my blood pressure spikes! And when I finally get to go alone there is something else I am scheduled to do too so I have to hurry. I want to try new recipes but I have to worry if everyone will like them because right now I just want to watch this weight start to come off so I want to eat chicken and ground turkey but I just see a fight with the ground turkey.

Until I do have my meals better prepared and sorted out I am eating a salad before my dinner that way I will not pig out on all the stuff I shouldn't eat. I also use a small plate instead of a normal dinner plate, and finally I do not go back for seconds. I can't change every bad habit I have in one day but I just don't feel like I have started out at a good pace.

Well since I will be writing 2 blogs in one day I will leave this one at that. Hopefully I can write more tonight as long as blogspot doesn't wig out on me again because I could write a novel right now!
