Today I had to take my sister to the doctor (everything is fine just a normal visit) and every time I take her out of her house we end up eating out. Well normally I don't mind but where did we end up today? Well, none other than the Chinese buffet! Oh the horror! That is the one buffet I love so much! But I did decent. I did not eat any rice or noodles and I only had 2 small pieces of sweet and sour chicken just to taste it. Then I just had pepper steak and chicken and broccoli. And no dessert. Yup I did have I soda but only one today and no refills. But when we go with my mom on Tuesday we will go somewhere that I am able to control my portions a little bit more with out the temptation of going back.
Also today went a lot smoother! I got up at 7am. Not the 2 hrs earlier but 1 hour none the less. In that 1 extra hour I was able to eat some breakfast in bed, do my exercising and clean up the living room before I had to get ready. It felt good and I was no more tired tonight than I normally am. So Monday I am going to make it my mission to get up at 6. And Fawn, I used the water game you told me about but instead I made it my goal to drink one of huge [Winghouse] glasses of water before the end of my workout and it worked! And I felt way better after my workout so thank you for that tip too.
So this is how my exercising and food went for the day:
Exercise: Zumba Wii Game
Next week I am going to get out of the house and start walking my driveway with Boogies. It is a tenth of a mile so I will walk it 10 times and I should be able to push the stroller through it.
Breakfast: Cereal and Milk
Lunch: Chinese Buffet
Dinner: Chick Fil A
Drinks: Water, sweet tea, dr pepper
Starting Next week I am going to be more specific with what I ate as well as calories counts. I don;t think I am being as accountable for what I put in my mouth as I should be.
On a side note: I want to thank everyone for the responses I have gotten about the blog. I am thankful for all the tips I am getting and I can't wait for the recipes I will be getting from Alissa next week when we go to lunch. She is on Weight Watchers and I hope she can give me some tips for going out to eat. And if so I will be sure to share them on here. If I am unable to get my eating down pat that may be my next step is joining weight watchers but I always have Boogies. Are there any kid friendly ones out there?
And Jay thank you for the phone call this morning. You made me feel a lot better about what I am doing. And you are right I will get use to the taste of water but I don't think I will ever share the same love with water the way that I love beer lol.
Fawn hearing that I am an inspiration floored me. I am so glad that you feel that I am and I am going to just keep on going for as long as it takes and I wish you nothing but success as well!
Even though tomorrow is the weekend I am still going to exercise and watch what I eat, and don't worry I will be blogging too!
